Starting Outlook in Safe Mode

When Outlook will not start or is running slowly, the culprit may be an Outlook Add-In. To see if that is the issue, you need to start Outlook in "Safe Mode." This will load Outlook without any Add-Ins.

1. Click the Start Button
2. Type Run and press ENTER.
3. In the Run box, type Outlook /Safe and press ENTER.
